Something got pressed and re-pressed to vinyl, I wonder what…
The Octopus Project – Six Feet Up
The Octopus Project – The Way Things Go
ps. i know that the god-like revamped version of “Rorol” is on the Golden Beds EP, but how haunting is the take off of Identification Parade? One of their first recordings and easily still up to par with their ridiculously characteristic new tunes.
The Octopus Project – Rorol (IP version)

Acephale Records will release the first two Air France EPs, On Trade Winds and No Way Down, globally on double 10″ vinyl with a gatefold cover. There are only 500 copies with no repress, so if you’re trying to get your rotation on to Air France then I suggest hitting up the site tonight. Pre-order here, $22.50 including shipping&handling for US orders.
Air France – GBG Belongs To Us (with Roos)
Air France – Collapsing At Your Doorstep
Air France – Beach Party

Just a little reminder to keep your schedule clear for the upcoming Say Hi show at Origami Vinyl in exactly one week from today, Wed May 13th at 7pm. You wouldn’t want to miss the infectious melodies thrown together on a drawing table of bellowing drums, under the black light of acoustic guitar and the pulsing strobe of electro. Did I mention it was free?
Say Hi – Angels and Darlas
Say Hi – The Stars Just Blink for Us
Say Hi – Zero to Love

Just got an email from Insound to let you all know that you can now pre-order the new Grizzly Bear album, Veckatimest, on vinyl. Nico Muhly – who composed The Reader soundtrack – contributes to the album as well as Beach House d.a.r.l.i.n.g. Victoria Legrand. If you want some grizzy bee in the meantime, multi-instrumentalist Chris Taylor (not this guy) plays sax on Beirut’s “On A Bayonet,” hot off the March of the Zapotec press. Beach House and Grizzly Bear play SXSW in three weeks, FMLY will be in attendance partying our booties off with The Death Set, Spank Rock, Japanther, and everyone else we love. Big ups to our boys at The Tape, when I google’d Veckatimest they were up top just under P4k.
Just to remind you all of the genius of GB, Dan Rossen’s “Two Weeks” keyboard part is a total cop from “Still D.R.E.” Videos after the jump.
