Toro y Moi – Low Shoulder

Our friend Toro y Moi has been quite busy. He’s blessa-ed us with this new video for Talamak off his new release on Carpark Causers Of This . You can catch him at SXSW and all over the country starting this week.
Chaz is a beauty bumpin’ Reason like there ain’t no logic to it. In The video that went up yesterday for “Blessa,” directed by Jon Casey, we get our first taste of Toro y Moi rockin’ a South Carolina house party. Peep the good times above.

See you next week!

So proud of Chaz (Toro y Moi), I’ve heard nothing but raves for his performances on this Islands tour! Going to go check him out tonight (haven’t seen him since August) and give him the Mirror Universe Tapes pound that I’m sure exists, right? If you haven’t been laying in dreams since Toro y Moi fell from heaven, here are a few tunes to rub those erogenous zones the right way. And speaking of Mirror Universe, they’re releasing a rad compilation on December 5 to raise money for an all ages venue in Charleston, South Carolina – but I’ll have more info on that in a couple of weeks. Expect to hear new tunes from FMLY favs EASYBOY, Tan Dollar and Philip Seymour Hoffman on the tape.
Toro y Moi – Blessa
Toro y Moi – 109
Washed Out – Feel It All Around (Toro y Moi remix)

Toro Y Moi subtracts blunt beats for blunt needs on his magically faded remix of Washed Out’s “Feel It All Around.” Not just anyone can turn stains into tie dye, and as evidence from this track these two South Carolina folk make a dream team. I know I feel it all, but is it greedy if I want to feel more?
