The Choir Quit make fuzz laden pop rivaling any fuzz laden pop we’ve heard before and deserve just as much recognition as their South Carolina brethren. But really, could we ask for anything more than tireless pop melodies covered in a thick blanket of distortion?
No longer are the days of when folks mention Columbia, SC the only topics of conversation to spill out are Young Jeezy and Rob Thomas! In better news than Rob Thomas collaborating with River Cuomo (i’m stopping now), Kid Trails have a cassette dropping in October via Mirror Universe Tapes who are releasing a lot of great folks like Weed Diamond and the homie Easyboy. Taking a few steps to the side from their ol’ PBR-fueled folk stories for some tape hiss and a lovely idea of intimacy, KT have an eclectic arsenal of tunes ready to bump from them to you.
