DOWNLOAD

1. DOM – Jesus
Pure summery pop bliss from Worcester Locals. Be sure to check out “Rude as Jude” on their myspace as well.

2. Lil Daggers – Ya Tube Sabe
Another track from my friends from Miami. Song makes me want to run from the cops in the worst way.

3. Quiet Loudly – Over The Balcony
Nifty number from my bearded buddies from Brooklyn.

4. Tan Dollar – Tan Dollar
I could listen to this on repeat all. day. long.

5. GOBBLE GOBBLE – End Of Days
Another new track from pals GOBBLE GOBBLE, this one pumps up the techno.

6. Truman Peyote – Kartwheels
Rad jam from Truman Peyote’s upcoming split with Many Mansions on Whitehaus.

7. Many Mansions – Sparkly Portal
Lighter-than-air track off of said split. Put your headphones on and take flight.

8. Tropical Depression – Miniature Mountains
Found this track thanks to FMLY. Airy grooves from the west coast.

9. Philip Seymour Hoffman – Everything In My Cupboards Is Moldy
Like the actor, only way better. 80% more R.L. Stein also.

10. PPALMM – Acid Cops
Killer track from PPALMM off Breakfast of Champs’ Mozart Family All-Stars comp.

11. Girlfriends – I Was Here But I Disappear
New track from Girlfriends’ amazing self-titled debut cassette on Floating Garbage Continent. For the record I called it “gritty” way before the Herald ever did.

12. Golden Girls – Amateur Teen Sex Attics
More wonderful noise coming from wormtown. Makes me miss the Common Fashion Outlets.

13. The Great Valley – Lucky Me!
New track from friends The Great Valley off of their 7” Holiday, Holinight on Spooky Town. Whoops, this ones coming out early summer via BOC. Still love Spooky Town though.

Boston songwriter, beautiful track.

15. Quilt – False Eto
This track sounds like it’s emerging from a cloud of smoke in another world to me.

16. Psychedelic Family – Black Horse Knight Rider (Live)
Epic. Put on repeat for days.

fmly fest

It’s time for the FMLY to come together.

We’re nearing the end of the aughts and to put Thanksgiving to shame we’d love to embrace all of the kind folks, awesome jams and unique experiences we’ve shared together. We’d like to throw a real FMLY festival coming from the heart. If you have a zine, graphic design firm, tutoring biz, circuit bending club, bike co-op, vegan bakery, or just a love for all things respectful and communal then hit us back. If you have a band, art form, musical endeavor, journal, film, new sex position, installation that you’d like to share, we want it.

On December 27 and 28 at the new chill spot, 5011, FMLY wants to combine minds with everyone we’ve jammed with over time and toss as many new names into the mix as we can. Together, let’s write the last pages of this decade’s influence on us. Fuck yeah!
