What! With some produced beats this time around – no Underworld or Weezer samples – Paper Route Gangstaz still keep the carbonation poppin’! Even better, FMLY is totally on the same page as our soon-to-be homies. As several of you know, I’m “working” on getting a strain of weed titled Helen Keller Kush (so potent it’ll make you go blind and deaf), and from the looks of this hot tune it seems that PRGz have been smokin’ some of that dank Keyshia Cole. Damn PRGz, you know just what I like.

It has been quite the wait, and I’ve definitely heard Peter from Anamanaguchi go through at least an album’s worth of Weezer, but Weezer: The 8bit Album is finally here and even better, it’s free. DOWNLOAD!
Featuring regular FMLY stars Unicorn Dream Attack, Anamanaguchi, nordloef and other pals and strangers, The 8bit Album certainly holds its own but overall doesn’t differ as much as I’d like from the original tracks. Definitely worth the download for the old school Weezer fans out there, especially when the album rolls through Unicorn Dream Attack’s cover of “Jamie” off of the fan-compiled Purple Album.

It’s been a minute since we brought up hood celebrities Paper Route Gangstaz, and that just ain’t coo’. Fear and Loathing in Hunts Vegas – my favorite hip-hop record of 2008 – dropped nearly a year ago and still there are no shows, no guest spots on albums, and no legit merch. PRGz, we want more!
