Nothing is sacred in contemporary art, not even itself. Set in Chelsea, a district of Manhattan which aside from its collectively bright and enthusiastic dwellers is known for its mediocre gallery nights that to a certain extent need to come with all of that free booze, UNTITLED explores the follies and subjective success of artists in the 21st century. The 1900s gave home to Cubism, Dadaism, Futurism, Fauvism and Expressionism just to name several movements but what have we accomplished in the past decade aside from jabbing the modern with weapons, dickchickens and more repetition? This role is the awkward kink that Adam Goldberg has been waiting for and I’m pretty excited to see him kill it. For more info, hit up the website.
