the Misfits – Halloween

if you lack the spirit…

…then you’re just not hearing it! Graveface is one of the raddest labels around and to treat our fantasies to such Halloween delight is just too rich – we’re going to get cavities! For the generation that ‘has it all’ we’re lacking one of many things and that’s a new Halloween song, all of this monster mashing has given me bruises and sores.

To this year’s advantage members of Black Moth Super Rainbow, The Appleseed Cast, Dreamend and Casket Girls have collaborated on what will become an annual treat, Marshmallow Ghosts, and in Graveface ideology what you see is only a glimpse of what you get. Coming in the fashion of a picture disc with glow in the dark packaging, the first 96 folks to pre-order (you’ve missed that boat, homie) also are getting hooked up with glow in the dark fangs, a glow button, candy, a pill puzzle, sticker, page from a coloring book, and a personalized toe-tag. Ryan, you’ve outdone yourself this time. The 7″ is
$8 and contains 12mins of music, you can pre-order here (only 500 pressed) and download 4mins below.

Where Will You Be Seen On Halloween

With Halloween a little over a week away, I’ve decided it’s time to carefully consider my options of what to do on Halloween. There are a lot of tantalizing options. Here’s what I’m considering:

First of all FMLY favs Rumspringa are playing a Helluva show. Halloween Downtown starts at 8 and goes till I can’t dance anymore. Also I get $10 off just for dressing up on Halloween and it would give me a good reason to check out BOXeight.

Little Radio is having a truly ghoulish night where Autolux among others will be playing. There is also a haunted house (?!) and a costume contest. Knowing Little Radio, there will be plenty of surprises as well.

The bands that inspired the start of FMLY will be playing as some of their favorite bands featuring Nephews as Jimmy Eats World, and members of Yes Means No, Dracula Mountain and Bro Nameth.

With such great options, I’m just not sure what to do.
