If you’re trying to handle a 40oz on the dance floor then Murdertronics are the dudes to hit up…or really anyone with Chief Records if you’re trying to do it dirty. We’ve noted on the bros here and there for their Chicago-style beats laced with some of that Baltimore ass, but recently I was just thinking that in contrast to the commodity of the Brooklyn music scene Murdertronics still give a fuck about keeping it real and that’s really appreciated. Big ups to our ex-Dean & Franklin crew Mr. Cracktacular, Moody Majical and Stevie Weavie for allowing FMLY to PRSNT their eviction party. We brought the Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and Manhattan masses DJ sets by Mr. Cracktacular, DJ Tanner aka Your Majesty, Ryder Ripps, the recently blogged about ECK$ and a stunning beat-set by our boy cloud.. The dance with grind, shake and pop, the smell was green, and the cops were absent – all in all it may have been on of the most epic parties I’ve ever been to…and I never even left the basement! Alright, so this weekend is going to be one of my favorites show-wise. I’ve already given you a look at Thursday with Ninjasonik, so lets take a sneek-a-freek-a-peek-a-leek at what Friday and Saturday have to offer.
FRIDAY
So those of you who live in LA should be familiar with Le Castle Vania, Moscow, Le Disko, Keith 2.0 and that whole scene so I’m not gonna get into it, but he’s definitely one of the most most attractive DJs/electronic musicians out there, so for that alone LCV is worth checking out, my very first live DJ the Toxic Avenger remix of Tigertron by LCV mashed with the Jackson 5, fun stuff. Purple Crush hit it big every time in NYC, holding down BK – they’re local heroes! Check them out when they’re not only DJ’ing though. My favorites, Anamanaguchi will be opening the show so get there early, don’t miss it, have a good time and get some free Sparks! Good lookin’ out Big Stereo.
