Simple and true words: No one can keep up with Breakfast Mountain. They are the DMT released in your brain every night leaving you to trip balls in the dream realm, they are the pinched lime that makes you gasp while stinging your open sore and they are the unholiest of erections that every dude wakes up with in the morning.

If you’ve ever had sex, then you’ve already heard Breakfast Mountain. Formed in 1999 to prevent Y2K, BM has been making love to ears for a decade. Like meat-lovers pizza, Breakfast Mountain spends a lot of time in your mom. [via]

Breakfast Mountain will appear at an incredible and super rad free & all-ages festival PDX Pop Now! this weekend at Rotture in Portland. This year’s PDX Pop Now! festival will stream live at PRA Radio after the fest hit up the site again to download entire sets! Entire festival lineup after the jump including sets by FMLY favs Grouper, Nurses, Au, Menomena, Benoit Pioulard, Rob Walmart and way too many more to mention. Again, this is free and all ages.

FMLY FRNDS and one of my favorite bands of ‘09, Church, will appear at the fest on Saturday. More on them this week as they’ll be heading down to Los Angeles in October to play a FMLY gathering at the Smell with our bro Railcars. Plus their Song Force Crystal record is quickly becoming one of my favorite releases this year, and it hasn’t even seen the public yet!
