oh, hi!

when we built this site in the beginning of 2008 it was exactly what a few geographically separated best friends needed to touch in with one another’s inspirations. these inspirations, dominantly social and environmental interactions within our neighborhoods, are our passions that have developed into a heartxcore thread: to treat everyone as our friend, everywhere as our home, and everything as our own. these four years of life changing celebration and collaboration have been an honor to share with all of you ideological heros, our best friends, and individually discover how we can each become a beneficial part of strengthening local community.

you may have noticed that activity on our site has slowed drastically since the start of 2012, and we’re all too happy to tell you that it’s because we’re packing our bags and leaving this ol’ shell for a whole new home. why? because at some point you need to stop decorating the ceiling and embrace the potential for infinite collaboration. as our fmly has grown within dispersed collectives interwoven throughout the globe, these walls just can’t contain our honest enthusiasm for one other… and that’s unfair. we will continue updating our events & our journal on a weekly basis, and hope to have the new site running this summer. if you can offer help in any way possible, it’d be awesome to hear from you. if you came here hoping to learn about fmly fest, please check out our our tumblr. much love.
