The Devil And Daniel Johnston is a fantastic example of the ways which film can complement a history of music in a respectful, honest, and nurturing way. Tomorrow evening, 8pm at 5011 West Adams St in Los Angeles, FMLY and McWorld will present a free screening of The Devil And Daniel Johnston with a live set from our pal Presstones. We talked about Kid Trails (and Rob Thomas) back in September right here, but i’m having the best vibes with these tunes tonight while I try and scramble this weekend together into the most potently productive work sesh…maybe it’s the Wes Anderson aesthetic?
