fixing through forgiveness

For years this country has been carrying on a pattern of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer, squeezing the middle class out completely. Now we are brought to a time when our whole economy — and the economy of most of the world — is put into question as we reach the edge of a total collapse. Young people are afraid to become educated because of the looming, seemingly endless debt that it would put them in and as a result, we are becoming less and less educated on the whole. With the amount of debt we hold as a country and so many options taken off the table by a uncompromising system, we are left with few choices. A MoveOn.org member, Robert Applebaum, came up with a really great one. We need the government to forgive student debt. We need to be able to educate our people without fear of debt. This would put so much more money back into the economy and create a new thinking class from all backgrounds for the future.

The petition is already doing really well but it can still use our help! We could make education a priority in this country just by spreading the word. If you believe in what I and so many others are talking about, please take a moment to sign this petition.
