Jim Sullivan – Highways

Jim Sullivan was never a big name but was always on the edge of success and in 1969 released UFO which was meant to be his break through album. 6 years later after not having the results he wanted in LA, he left his wife and kid to try to make it in Nashville. After checking into a hotel in New Mexico, he was never seen again. His car was found 22 miles away abandoned. UFO is a really amazingly haunting album with Phil Spector’s session players, The Wrecking Crew. The album was just reissued on the LA label Light in the Attic.
