While Beach House deliver one swift four minute blow on Devotion‘s “Turtle Island”, Emily Reo leans for a compound vision which fragments and amplifies a landscaped beauty trading the ride towards a satisfying euphoria for a photo album of instant pleasures. The presentation of Emily’s “Turtle Island” is very much inverse to her recording of Built To Spill’s “Car”, a real treat if you’re not in a rush and can devote yourself to the five minute serenade. We’ve posted this video numerous times in the past, but this is the first time that we’ve had a complementary recording to accompany it.
