a single payer system

This has been going on for too long. We can’t just stand by while these payed off elected officials make decisions about our health care. The republicans say there is no problem. Of course they don’t see a problem. They have a great government based health care plan as do all of our elected officials. These are people who don’t understand what uninsured means. Even the democrats, who are supposed to be progressive can barely keep the public option on the table. My question to them is why did we start with the public option plan? Even Obama’s plan still leaves 15 million uninsured. How long do we let private interests control our lives? Why would anyone want to make a profit off of others misfortunes? This isn’t a left or right issue. This is an issue of survival and basic human consciousness. A government is supposed to take care of it’s people. Period.

I have experienced first hand that when you need the insurance, they are not there for you. They are there to take your money and make a profit and that’s it. When there are terms like preexisting conditions, our best interest isn’t being looked after. Our politicians are in bed with the insurance companies and those who aren’t are pussies. It’s time that we stand up and fight.

Everybody deserves healthcare. That should be a right, not a privilege.

Even Bill O’Rielly believes eveyone deserves healthcare.

It’s time that we mobilize. The biggest hurdle is ignorance. Talk to your friends and family about this issue. Let your Representatives know that a public option isn’t good enough. We don’t need a middle man to act like the mob and tell us if we are going to live or die. We must send a message: Our well being is not a harvest field for profiteering. We are real people. This is our life.

A war against ignorance

Take a minute out of your day to call your representative. The people need to stand up for themselves now. Tell them I will not support you if you don’t support the people. No one is going to fight this war for us.

Here is a list of senators offices.

Of course how can we expect elected officials to take our health seriously when we can even take it seriously. It’s time that American’s look in the mirror. If we were a healthier nation, we would have as many problems. Think about your diet. How many times a week do you exercise? How much do you drive? How many hours do you watch TV? Is this living life?

  • We need to organize, phone in, and prove that the majority of people will be better off with a single payer system or at least a public plan. Use your vote to make a change– even if it takes a long time– Do not give up and let the insurance and drug companies rape our families while making huge profits. Our insurance went up 25% this year! We need a change. This will benefit those with insurance the most. Coops and nonprofits will not work and this will not work with out forcing reduced prices.
