As much as I’d love to leave that ode to weed mixtape as the heading post forevs, I figure it’s probably a good idea to get back to what’s going down right now. Today, Bon Iver announced a special Los Angeles show – can you guess where it is? The Hollywood Cemetary! Can you guess what time? 6am!
Hollywood Forever is proud to present: A Special Sunrise performance with: Bon Iver Come early and spend the night with us (we strongly encourage bringing picnic blankets and warm clothing) or just come out for the performance. There will be entertainment presented to you during the night. Free Coffee and pastries will be provided in the morning. Performance will start (approximately) at 6am (SUNDAY morning) and Doors are at 12am Sunday September 27th (SATURDAY night). There will be limited parking on site with additional parking at Paramount Studios (801 Gower Street -north of Melrose). Come out and be part of a once in a lifetime event.
That’s right, tickets went on sale today for ‘the experience of a lifetime;’ spending the night in a graveyard with folk who probably watch way too many zombie movies. If you’re in a couple I’d think that watching dawn hit Hollywood’s finest before there was even an A-list would be pretty romantic, and of course, there’s Bon Iver.
