goodbye $2 shows

This Friday (8/14) marks a great celebration that comes around every year at about this time, going away to college. While some of us live in our respective college towns and cities year round many folks live the jetsetter lifestyle, some of us have yet to embark on that venture of our lives and even more of us are through with post-High School education having either earned a BA, MA, PhD or just found something constructive to do with our time not involving school. Whichever category you fall into, it’s unreasonable for you not to have $2 to come celebrate with some rad bands and wish other folks’ friends goodbye. Unless you’re some perv who is just trying to get in on the ‘i’m leaving town next week’ action, you can use those $2 to buy a beer and hang out with your bros at home.

This $2 Show will see its proceeds go towards the Lily Burk Endowment at the Oakwood School so it is recommended to donate a couple more bucks if you can spare not grabbing an In-N-Out after the show. After reading about what happened to the poor girl I’d feel guilty for not dropping whatever I had in my pockets.
