Even if you’ve never been in the ocean, it’s there – churning and powering, creating and destroying, giving and taking. Coming from Southern California, there is approximately 300 miles of varying coast line that catch the powerful Aleutian storms of winter and the summer loving tropical flow of the south.
Previously, Thomas Campbell created the beloved independent films Seedling and Sprout, both encasing a earthly vibe, while gathering different sonic selections from the wide world of flowing jazzic music. Toting soundtracks that include Tortoise, Mojave 3, Calexico, the Shins, and many more, Campbell finds an artistic way to share the stoke.
Though the initial screenings have passed for the movie, LA gets another chance to see what has been hailed as the ‘Last Independent Surf Film.’ Catch one of the So Cal showings listed after the jump…
