Art-rock band, Ponytail, recently performed an acoustic Daytrotter session that is on heavy repeat in my apartment. Check out the article and download the files here. With the absence of the most intense drums and guitar riffs you’ve ever heard, lead singer and dreamgirl Molly Siegel’s voice shines through like a wolf howling for the moon – hence, why the session is titled “Howling At The Moon With All The Wolves.” What else can I say, I love Ponytail. “Beg Waves” and “Celebrate the Body” are more than I can handle on this sesh, just so on-point, I couldn’t be more impressed with this band acoustically. Without a doubt, this is one of the best performances Daytrotter has captured.
